I make pottery from the land, using Coromandel clay and locally sourced materials. Originally from Tokomaru Bay, my journey with clay has taken me from Aotearoa to Japan, India and The Leach Pottery in Cornwall. I’ve also had the privilege of training locally under Petra Meyboden and Callum Trudgeon. I now work as one of the production potters at Driving Creek.

All of my pots are wood or gas fired in the kilns at Driving Creek. I find deep satisfaction in making functional vessels for everyday use. I hope each piece carries its own quiet personality and brings a touch of joy whenever it’s used.
