I graduated from Elam in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture, with honours in painting. In the early 1990s, I returned home to Coromandel and began building my studio. I have been majorly influenced by the impressionist cartoonist Michael Leunig, Monet, and also Barry Brickell. I work with the hope that my finished items offer viewers a sense of connection and happiness!
